Ten new hires as top firm opens Cork office

Top firm Holmes O’Malley Sexton is opening a Cork branch with ten new hires at a South Mall office.

With offices already in Dublin, Limerick and London, the law firm has expanded significantly and now employs over 150 people in Ireland.

With the Cork move, it plans further consolidation in the litigation, commercial, insurance and corporate sectors.

Managing partner Harry Fehily said “Nationally we have a strong footprint of indigenous and multinational clients.

Fastest-growing city

“As Ireland’s fastest growing city and region Cork is an important base for our firm where we already have a significant client base.

“With a very experienced team in the new Cork office, headed up by partner John Ringrose we are positioned to deliver best in class legal services for business and corporates that serve local and international markets from this region.”

“We expect to increase headcount in the coming 18 months at the Cork practice,” said John Ringrose.
