Diploma in Education

Diploma in Education Law begins its third year

The Diploma in Education Law begins on 2 November in the Law Society’s Education Centre.

The course is now in its third year, and it is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the complex legal topics that arise when advising on education law matters.

For those who can’t attend lectures, these will be webcast ‘live’ and they will also be available in recorded format. The course continues until next April. The course leader is Rory O’Boyle, solicitor.

The closing date for applications was Friday 26 October 2018, but the deadline has been extended. Late applications will be accepted.

Non-lawyers who are suitably qualified professionals are also welcome to take the course.

This course is suitable for solicitors, barristers, and trainees who advise or wish to advise on education law matters; school principals, teachers, management organisations, trade unions, and staff associations.
