The winning Blackhall Place team in the Philip C Jessup International Law Moot Court competition will be jetting out to the international finals in Washington DC in April.
The Law Society team won the Irish round last Saturday, 23 February, edging out competing teams from the King’s Inns and Griffith College Dublin.
The teams were judged on their working of a fictitious international law dispute between two states. Competitors submitted extensive written arguments on both sides, and then argued their cases before a panel of three expert judges.
