NUI Galway to honour leading lawyer
Lawyer Grainne McMorrow is to be honoured with the 2019 NUI Galway Alumni Award for Law, Public Policy and Government.
The 20th annual Alumni Awards will be presented at a gala banquet on Saturday, 13 April.
The award is sponsored by Ronan Daly Jermyn.
Jurist
Senior counsel and jurist Grainne McMorrow was awarded BA from NUI Galway in 1980 and LLB in 1983.
President of NUI Galway, Professor Ciarán Ó hÓgartaigh said: “It is the mission of universities to make the world a better place through our teaching, research and impact.
“Our Alumni Awards programme recognises alumni who make a positive difference in the world and who are leaders in their chosen fields.”
