Blackhall tournament to mark World Refugee Day

Soccer players from around the world will tog out at Blackhall Place on Sunday 23 June to mark World Refugee Day.

The Law Society will host the 10th annual Sport Against Racism Ireland UNHCR World Refugee Day Fair Play Cup.

Conflict

The Fair Play Cup is Ireland's largest World Refugee Day event, held every year to draw attention to the millions of refugees who have been forced to leave their homes due to war, conflict, persecution or natural disaster.

The all-day tournament will run from 10am until 5pm.

World Refugee Day falls this year on Thursday 20 June.
