UCD law school to offer data protection training diploma

UCD will offer a new Diploma in Data Protection and Governance from this September 11.

The Diploma will train up future data protection officers and those involved in a compliance role.

Relevant to legal practitioners

It will also be highly relevant to legal practitioners in this area. The diploma will be offered across two semesters and will take 24 weeks.

The lectures will be on Wednesday evenings from 5pm to 7pm from staff of the College of Social Sciences and Law.

The Diploma is co-ordinated by Dr TJ McIntyre, chair of Digital Rights Ireland and lecturer in law in UCD.
