UK legal professionals earn £30,000 above average wage

Legal professionals have ranked fifth in the salary levels they can command in a British survey of 270 job types. The average wage for a legal professional is £69,992 in Britain, according to the survey.

The average British salary stands at £29,558 annually, according to a RS Components survey. However, a chief executive can command an average of £97,083 while doctors earn an average of £75,855.

Sales directors

Marketing and sales director salaries come in third place at £75,126 while IT directors earn an average of £72,109.

Waiters and bar staff earn the least across the board, earning £14,000 per annum less than the average British salary, with wages in the sector topping out at around £15,000 annually.
