‘Brexit effect’ sees legal recruiters move to Dublin

Legal recruitment specialist Taylor Root is to open a Dublin office, extending their reach to 13 locations in ten countries.

Taylor Root is a global search and recruitment company specialising in legal and corporate governance professionals.

The Dublin office will be headed up by Hamish Richmond and will focus on legal recruitment across the Republic and the North.

In-house teams

Richmond has specialised in Irish legal recruitment for several years, working with Irish law firms and in-house legal teams. He previously worked in Sydney, Hong Kong and London.

He said: “The Irish legal market has seen a period of sustained growth as a result of the strong economy and the effects of Brexit, which has led to banks, companies and law firms looking to grow their capabilities in Dublin as well as other regions.”

Taylor Root will also open a Birmingham office as it reaches its 30th year in business.
