Belfast firm inches into top-tier status listings

Belfast firm Millar McCall Wylie has won top-tier status in the world’s largest legal referral guide, Legal 500.

It has also doubled its Leading Lawyers listing, with five partners recognised across a broad range of sectors.

An additional five partners were rewarded Recommended Lawyers status.

Partners on the recommended referral guide include Abbie Long, Caroline Prunty, Andrew Kerr, Simon Fleming and John Finnegan, who joins the list for the first time.

Growth

With double-digit growth in its two Belfast offices, the firm was applauded for both private and corporate client expertise in intellectual property, personal tax, trusts and probate work.

The firm has grown its team by 20% this year and has an employee retention rate of 95% across both offices.

Managing partner Peter McCall commented: “Our growth would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of the people and individuals in our team. I am proud that so many individuals have been singled out for their expertise and professionalism, working with quality clients both locally and internationally.”

The first-generation law firm was also recognised in the Legal 500 guide in areas such as dispute resolution, corporate M&A, banking and finance, insolvency and corporate recovery, employment, energy and commercial property.

Millar McCall Wylie has a list of clients including Learning Pool, NI Screen, McAleer & Rushe, NFU Mutual, Avon Cosmetics, Amazon, Microsoft, MJM and Specsavers.
