William Fry's Lisa Carty wins Client Choice award

Lisa Carty, a partner in William Fry’s litigation and dispute resolution department, has been named the exclusive 2020 Client Choice winner for Litigation - Ireland.

Lisa was presented with the prestigious award at a celebratory dinner on 6 February at One Great George Street in London.

The Irish award in the litigation category, chosen by Client Choice’s team of researchers, was given to Lisa for her ability to add real value to her clients’ businesses.

Expertise

Lisa acts in a wide range of commercial cases with particular expertise in financial services disputes, professional negligence actions and judicial reviews against public bodies.

She advises on the highest profile cases before the Irish courts and on complex regulatory compliance and investigations.  Lisa regularly lectures and tutors on commercial litigation and is the vice-chair of the Litigation Committee of the Law Society.

William Fry managing partner Bryan Bourke said “We are delighted that Lisa has been recognised by Client Choice with this prestigious award.

“Lisa is a top-notch lawyer and adviser, she is a leading litigator in the Dublin market and is particularly highly regarded in complex regulatory disputes.  This award is a testament to both Lisa's skill and her industry standing, and we are very proud to have Lisa as part of the William Fry team.”

Quality

Established in 2005, Client Choice recognises law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service.

Unlike other awards, a lawyer can only be nominated for a Client Choice Award by a corporate or in-house counsel.

The award criteria focus on a nominee’s ability to give excellent advice beyond the other players in the market. This year's winners were chosen from over 2,000 nominees.
