Tests offered to courts staff in England and Wales

COVID-19 testing is being extended to courts staff in England and Wales.

In that jurisdiction, the Courts & Tribunals Service says decisions on personal protective equipment for those working in courts are in line with official guidance. Its workforce is 187,000 strong.

Cleaning

Officials say that cleaning of courts and PPE provision are also in line with Public Health England guidance.

Currently, there are 160 affected open courts and 116 staffed courts in the jurisdiction.

And a total of 8,000 laptops have been given to staff to work from home while some are working flexible hours or maintaining social distancing in an office setting.
