DLA Piper acts on Dublin’s Bishops’ Square transaction

DLA Piper has acted in a transaction for the purchase of Bishop’s Square in Dublin 8.

DLA Piper advised the real estate investment arm of Allianz Group, Allianz Real Estate GmbH, on the investment vehicle financing managed by GLL Real Estate Partners.

The property is a substantial 153,558 sq ft office building located just off Dublin's Aungier Street/Camden Street junction.

Senior associate

The international DLA Piper team was led by partners Frank Schwem and Dr Torsten Pokropp, as well as senior associate Martin Wilmsen (all finance and projects, Frankfurt).

The team also comprised partners Graham Quinn (real estate, Dublin), Kate Curneen and Conor Houlihan (both finance and projects, Dublin), Laurent Massinon (finance and projects, Luxembourg), as well as transaction lawyer Zsuzsanna Somogyi-Csizmazia (finance and projects, Frankfurt).
