The challenges facing regional arbitration centres

Arbitration Ireland will run a collaborative webinar with the British Virgin Islands International Arbitration Centre on 9 June.

The topic is ‘Inception and Development of Arbitration in Ireland and the British Virgin Islands’, and there will be a discussion on the comparative history and development of arbitration in Ireland and the British Virgin Islands.

Similarities

The webinar will examine similarities and differences between the two jurisdictions, and the challenges they face as regional arbitration centres in promoting themselves as arbitral seats.

Panellists include Hana Doumal and Francois Lassalle, who will be joined by Patrick Leonard SC and Hayley O’Donnell BL of the Bar of Ireland.

Registration is now open.
