Barry Quinn joins Johnson Hana in senior advisory role

Alternative legal-service provider Johnson Hana (JH) has hired Barry Quinn as a senior advisor.

Johnson Hana specialises in outsourced legal services, and aims is to fill the gap between high-value, partner-led legal advice and low-value, process-driven legal work.

Founder Dan Fox said that the new hire would bring an in-depth understanding of the benefits of commoditising certain legal workstreams.

Quinn added: “I am thrilled to be joining Johnson Hana. Their passion for disrupting the legal world is so refreshing and I’m delighted to be able to offer my advice to support their continued rapid progression.”

Surge in interest

Johnson Hana saw a recent surge in interest from banking and financial-services clients with legal and regulatory compliance requirements.

The provider has added three other team members over the past quarter – director of legal operations and solutions Sinead Garnett, commercial director Alan Dalton, and strategic advisor Jason Nagle.

Prior to joining Johnson Hana, Quinn worked for several years as senior vice-president with specialised on-demand legal talent providers, Axiom.

He also worked with wealth-and-investment-management solutions provider SEI.

Johnson Hana offers technology solutions, project management and legal teams for assignments, and allows its 1,000 registered lawyers flexible and family-friendly working conditions.

Clients include Bank of Ireland, ESB, Twitter, Airbnb, and Tesco.
