Blackhall Place trainees excel at dispute resolution

Three Blackhall Place trainee solicitors have received Law Society awards after representing the law school in the International Academy of Dispute Resolution’s 2020 annual tournament.

James Leahy, Hannah Gallagher and Katie Lee, coached by John Lunney (course manager for professional courses in the Law Society’s Education Centre), were placed second as mediator team in the contest.

Recognition

Katie Lee was honoured with a special recognition for her role as mediator.

Law Society 2021/22 President Michelle Ní Longáin presented the team with their awards at an event held to recognise trainees who excelled at virtual and in-person events during 2020 and 2021.
