Addleshaw Goddard now opens in Luxembourg

Addleshaw Goddard (AG), which arrived recently in Dublin, has now opened an office in financial services hub Luxembourg.

Currently, approximately 90% of the funds finance work that AG undertakes involves Luxembourg funds and/or managers and administrators.

The opening follows the announcement of the merger with Dublin-based law firm Eugene F Collins LLP, bringing the total number of AG offices outside of Britain to 11.

AG launched in Paris in January 2021 and in Germany in June 2019.

Tracking ahead of plans

Both of those jurisdictions are tracking well ahead of initial plans, and already employ 100 people.

AG's presence in Luxembourg enhances its coverage and operations in both France and Germany, as well as other EU countries, ensuring a comprehensive EU service.

Managing Partner John Joyce said that Luxembourg is a strategically important jurisdiction as its reputation as a stable and competitive economy and a leading hub for financial services institutions is well known.

AG now has 17 offices worldwide – six in Britain, one in Ireland, two in Asia, three in the Middle East and (including Luxemburg) five in continental Europe.
