Arthur Cox takes M&A legal-adviser prize
Arthur Cox has been named Ireland Legal Adviser of the Year at the Mergermarket M&A Awards Europe 2022.
KPMG took the award for Ireland Financial Adviser of the Year at the ceremony, which took place in London earlier this week.
Cian McCourt (partner and head of corporate and M&A at Arthur Cox, pictured) said that the award recognised the quality and scale of work by the firm’s team across a range of sectors.

“While the global economy has slowed, M&A volumes have remained resilient, and Ireland remains an attractive investment destination, so we look forward to 2023 with confidence,” he added.
During 2022, Arthur Cox’s M&A team was involved in Mediahuis Ireland’s €30 million acquisition of Carzone, the $3.8 billion sale of CRH’s Old Castle Building Envelope to KPS Capital Partners, and Flutter Entertainment’s acquisition of Sisal.
