Sligo Legal Aid Board opens co-located mediation unit

Sligo Legal Aid Board's new co-located Sligo Law Centre and Mediation Centre  will be officially opened by James Browne (Minister of State at the Department of Justice with responsibility for Law Reform) on Thursday 21 July at 2.30pm.

The co-located office in Sligo is at Floor 2, Bridgewater House, Rockwood Parade, Thomas Street, Sligo, F91 Y9YY.

Dispute

The objective of co-locating law centres and mediation centres is to encourage more people requesting legal services in relation to a family dispute to seek to resolve the dispute with the help  of a mediator, rather than through a court process.
