Lyn Brennan to head William Fry’s New York office
Irish law firm William Fry LLP has appointed Lyn Brennan (pictured, right) to head its New York office.
Brennan, a banking-and-finance partner, will relocate to New York from the firm’s Dublin office.
She has significant experience in advising global financial institutions, private-equity firms and corporate clients on a range of domestic and international financial transactions.
Before joining William Fry in 2019, Brennan spent four years practising in New York as part of the leveraged-finance team of Milbank, and on secondment with Goldman Sachs.
US commitment
William Fry’s New York office provides Irish legal and tax advice to US and international clients with interests in Ireland.
The firm says that it has a growing US client base in the areas of banking and financial services, corporate and M&A, pharmaceuticals and life sciences, technology, ESG (environment, social and governance), and structured finance.
“Lyn's appointment further strengthens and builds on our commitment to expand our local presence in New York and the United States,” said Owen O’Sullivan (managing partner, pictured, centre).
