Beauchamps’ Barry Cahir to lead INSOL Europe

Beauchamps’ partner Barry Cahir has been appointed as president of the professional organisation, INSOL Europe.

Cahir heads the insolvency and corporate restructuring team at Beauchamps and was appointed during the INSOL Europe annual congress, recently held in Dubrovnik, Croatia. 

Barry Cahir said: "INSOL Europe is the go-to professional organisation for lawyers, accountants, financiers, academics and other professionals interested in the field of restructuring and insolvency.

“l will do my very best to continue the evolution and professionalisation of our INSOL Europe organisation, all the time seeking to enhance the membership experience.”

Cahir has significant Irish and cross-border experience and has been a member of the Council of INSOL Europe since 2016. He has been a Fellow of INSOL International since 2016 – the only person in Ireland to be so awarded.
