Irish Rule of Law International commercial law seminar

IRLI's commercial law seminar is on this month

Irish Rule of Law International (IRLI) will hold its annual Commercial Law Seminar on 27 October this year.

The venue is the Distillery Building Atrium, 145-151 Church Street, Dublin 7, at 5pm, and the event will be chaired by Justice Caroline Costello.

Speakers

The papers are as follows:

  • ‘Stay Applications in respect of decisions by regulators, particularly two recent judgments on this issue in litigation with ComReg’ (by Eoin Sreenan BL, and spoken to by Catherine Donnelly SC),
  • ‘Developments in the summary judgment procedure’ (Conor Duffy BL, and spoken to by Alan Doherty SC),
  • ‘Recent developments in insurance law’ (Patrick Longworth, and spoken to by Brian Quigley,
  • ‘Recent developments concerning auditors’ liability’ (Gerard Sadlier, and spoken to by Michael Coonan of McCann FitzGerald LLP).

The IRLI’s annual Criminal Law and Evidence seminar will be also held in the Distillery Building Atrium on Saturday, 26 November at 9am, chaired by Ms Justice Marie Baker.
