Conference on trauma-informed legal practice

Several members of the Irish judiciary have signed up to attend a conference next week on trauma-informed practice (15 September).

The event is free to attend in person or online, and is hosted by Queen's University Human Rights Centre.

The conference title is ‘Trauma-informed legal practice: better outcome for clients, a better day’s work for solicitors and barristers’.

Lady Chief Justice

Speakers include the North’s Lady Chief Justice Siobhan Keegan and Melissa Rutherford of Trauma-Informed Lawyers Network, Scotland.

The venue is the moot court at Queen’s, and the free event will yield 2.5 CPD hours by group study.
