Matheson and UL team up for scholarship

Law firm Matheson has launched a new scholarship programme in association with the University of Limerick (UL).

The Matheson Scholarship in Law Plus will be awarded annually, and is open to first-year under-graduate Bachelor of Laws (Law Plus) students in UL.

The scheme is part of UL’s 50ForFifty initiative, a celebration of the university’s first 50 years that involves the UL Foundation seeking an additional 50 scholarships for UL students

Matheson position

The recipient of the Matheson award will receive:

  • A bursary of €5,000 for the academic year, and
  • A position on the Matheson Career First Programme, a dedicated programme for under-graduate students.

Those applying for the scholarship must email a copy of their CV, and a short summary (maximum 1,000 words) setting out why they believe they should receive the award, to ul.scholarship@matheson.com.

The closing date for applications is Friday, 4 November 2022.
