Dolphin House won’t re-open until 31 August

The Courts Service has advised practitioners that the relocation of Dolphin House District Family Law in Dublin has been extended until Wednesday 30 August.

The office and court in East Essex Street had been moved earlier this month to the Circuit Family Law Court Office, Ground Floor, Phoenix House, 15-24 Phoenix Street North, Smithfield, Dublin 7, D07 X028.

The relocation, which was due to essential works, had initially been scheduled for the period from 8 to 18 August.

Opening hours

Opening hours at the temporary location are:

  • 9.30am to 1pm, and
  • 2pm to 4pm.

Walk-in domestic-violence applications will continue to be taken in Phoenix House from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 3pm, and all existing appointments will be facilitated.

The Courts Service has apologised for any inconvenience, adding that Dolphin House will re-open for business from Thursday 31 August.
