Ex-Tax Appeals Commissioner Conor Kennedy who has joined EY Law
EY Law hires Revenue appeals insider Kennedy
Conor Kennedy has joined EY Law Ireland as head of its tax strategy and disputes practice.
He will provide tax opinions on transactions, and also advise on strategy to resolve Revenue-related queries.
Kennedy joins EY from the Tax Appeals Commission, where he was a tax-appeals commissioner resolving tax disputes valued in excess of €2.5 billion.
The firm has pointed to his unique experience of structuring opinions and submissions to provide decision-makers with the detail they require to rule in favour of taxpayers.
Barrister-at-Law
Kennedy holds an Advanced Diploma in Statutory Drafting, a Barrister-at-Law Degree and a Diploma in Legal Studies from King's Inns, together with an MSc in Taxation from Dublin City University (DCU). He is also a Chartered Tax Advisor.
