Four partners are appointed at Beauchamps

Beauchamps has appointed Paul Gough, Caoimhe Banks, Stuart Conaty and Caroline Shanahan as partners.

John White, managing partner at Beauchamps, said: “Caoimhe, Caroline, Paul and Stuart are committed, practical, and flexible lawyers with deep understanding of their chosen sectors.

“They are trusted advisers to firm clients and are committed to providing first-class client service. I look forward to working with our new partners as they evolve as leaders in their new roles.”

Useful skillsets

Gough regularly acts for clients before the Workplace Relations Commission on employment-related matters.

Banks will work in the firm’s specialised housing team, in the commercial real-estate department.

Conaty has been appointed as a partner in the firm’s energy team, and also heads its planning team. He was previously a senior in-house lawyer in Bord na Móna, where he was land and property manager.

Before becoming a lawyer, he worked as an engineer and project manager on infrastructure and real-estate projects. He is also a lecturer in UCD’s School of Civil Engineering in law, procurement, and professional practice.

Shanahan has been appointed as a partner in the firm’s commercial litigation and dispute-resolution team. She specialises in insolvency, corporate recovery, banking disputes, and financial-services litigation.
