Eversheds extends footprint with San Francisco opening

Eversheds Sutherland has announced the official opening of its new office space in downtown San Francisco.

The new office at 101 California is part of the firm's goal of expanding its US presence.

Eversheds Sutherland now has nine offices in the US.

In addition to San Francisco, since 2019, Eversheds Sutherland has also opened offices in Chicago and San Diego .

Since its launch in San Francisco in March 2022, the Eversheds Sutherland office has grown steadily, and serves a range of sectors – including corporate and M&A, data privacy, product counselling, energy, insurance, technology, and sport.

Managing partner Alan Connell said: “We are very excited by this development and the overall extension of our worldwide footprint.

“With our multidisciplinary expertise and diverse practices here in Ireland, we are the standout law firm of choice for internationally-focused companies and financial institutions doing business in and from Ireland.”

Tax

The firm is on hand in one of the top business, technology, and legal markets in the US, he added, as a one-stop-shop to assist clients on legal and tax requirements as they seek to expand their operations in and from Ireland 

The firm now has over 70 offices in more than 30 countries.

San Francisco partner-in-charge Baird Fogel said: “The office is designed for our global team to get together, collaborate, socialise and meet with clients.”
