RDJ appoints new construction-practice partner

Cork-based law firm RDJ has appointed Shane O’Connor (pictured) as a partner in its construction practice.

O’Connor advises clients on construction and procurement matters – including contract drafting and negotiation, regulatory advices, and all forms of alternative dispute resolution.

He has both private practice and in-house experience across Ireland and England, in addition to a number of years of pre-qualification experience in the construction industry.

‘Talented’

Before joining RDJ, O’Connor spent almost six years with a semi-state utilities provider as the lead legal adviser on large construction contracts.

Jamie Olden (RDJ managing partner) described the new partner as “a talented lawyer with extensive knowledge of the construction market in Ireland”.

As well as its Cork base, RDJ has offices in Dublin, Galway and London.
