Solicitors Accounts Regulations training offer

A Law Society Professional Training course on Solicitors Accounts Regulations is now available on the LegalED Talks – CPD training hub.

Listed as course seven under the regulatory matters series, the link on the webpage takes learners directly to the platform

The new Solicitors Accounts Regulations came into force on 1 July 2023.

Context

The training course sets out the context and highlights of the changes for practitioners, and outlines how to bring a practice in line with the current and incoming regulations.

Lecturer Garry Clarke (partner, Lanigan Clarke LLP) has been practising in Donegal since 1995 and specialises in property, business law and probate.

He is a member of the Donegal Solicitors Bar Association, a Council member of the Law Society, former chair of the Compensation Fund and current chair of the Regulation of Practice Committee.

Completion will yield 0.5 hours of regulatory matters (accounting and AML compliance) CPD, by eLearning.
