William Fry aims to reduce poor mental health stigma

William Fry LLP has been recognised by IBEC for its wellbeing efforts.

The firm features on the IBEC KeepWell Mark index which recognises businesses that prioritise the total health and wellbeing of their employees.

The firm was also awarded ‘best in class' for mental health at an Ibec inaugural lunch.

Welcoming the award, HR director Steph Atkinson said: “The KeepWell Mark has provided a valuable framework to build best practice and benchmark our own progress and areas for improvement.

Reducing stigma

“Our network of mental-health allies and sponsors are passionate about embedding mental health in our culture and reducing the associated stigma in the workplace.

“Through building our leaders' capabilities to spot the signs of poor mental health, creating safe forums to speak up and providing the policies, tools and supports to bolster wellbeing, we reduce any stigma and futureproof our organisation's total health," she said.
