Workshop on building a professional brand

Law Society Skillnet is to hold a one-day workshop aimed at giving solicitors the tools to create their own personal brand.

The workshop is described as “highly interactive and practical”, with plenty of role-play and scenario exercises.

The event, entitled ‘Build your own Professional Brand 2023’, takes place on Wednesday 14 June, and runs from 9am to 4.30pm. Six CPD hours are available.

Topics and trainer

The topics include:

  • Personal branding: Your personal brand, your digital brand, making first and last impressions, and tips for making an impact,
  • Pitching your ideas: Pitching to others, ‘Dragon’s Den’ skills practice, and influencing in groups.

Numbers are limited to 12 participants.

The trainer is Naoise Blake, who set up Naoise Blake Training & Development in 2000.

She has 25 years’ experience as a facilitator, trainer, people manager, coach, mentor, learning-and-development manager, business manager and consultant.
