ALG takes Irish prize at The Lawyer awards

A&L Goodbody LLP (ALG) has been named ‘Irish Law Firm of the Year 2023’ by the international magazine The Lawyer.

The Lawyer European Awards 2023 ceremony, which celebrates Europe’s leading law firms, was held in London last weekend.

ALG was also shortlisted for awards in four categories – including the client-service and pro bono categories. It also received a commendation in the ‘Best European Finance Team’ category.

Culture

“To be recognised for our client service and pro bono work reflects our culture of working together to do the best for our clients and continuously improve our business,” said David Widger (ALG managing partner).

Flynn O’Driscoll was also ‘highly commended’ in the ‘Irish Law Firm of the Year’ category, while Arthur Cox, Dentons, Mason Hayes & Curran, and Matheson were shortlisted.
