Mediator Bill Holohan to speak at seminar
GEMME Ireland will host an in-person and online event at the Gaffney Room Distillery Buildings, Dublin tomorrow (Wednesday 25 October) at 4.30pm.
This informative and practical seminar will be chaired by GEMME president Ms Justice Marguerite Bolger of the High Court.
The panel will consist of experienced mediators:
- Cathrina Keville BL,
- Bill Holohan SC, solicitor.
The event will be live-streamed and is open to all. Coffee will be served from 4.15pm onwards.
Lecturer
Cathrina Keville BL has a special interest in alternative dispute resolution and is an MII-accredited and practising mediator, as well as a lecturer on the King’s Inns advanced diploma in mediation.
Keville is a member of Dublin Community Mediation, an adjudicator and mediator with the Residential Tenancies Board, and a former chair of the Arbitration and ADR Committee of the Bar Council of Ireland.
Solicitor Bill Holohan SC is an experienced legal practitioner who has been actively involved in alternative dispute resolution and mediation for many years.
He is a former council member of the Mediators Institute of Ireland and a member of the Law Society ADR committee.
Holohan is also a member of the Civil and Commercial Committee of the Irish Professional Mediators Organisation.
He is passionate about mediation and says he had a 'road to Damascus' conversion to it following 25 years of practice in litigation.
Bill Holohan has accumulated invaluable practical expertise in mediation, and is only too willing to share his passion for the process with others.
