Mercy Law event to discuss homelessness

Mercy Law Resource Centre (MLRC) is to host an event next month to coincide with the launch of a new report on homelessness.

The report, Children Left Behind, examines the effects of long-term family homelessness on the children of ethnic-minority families.

The conference takes place on 10 September (9.30am to 1pm) at the Wisdom Centre, Cork Street, Dublin D08 YD91.

Human-rights lawyer

The keynote speaker at the event is human-rights lawyer Caoilfhionn Gallagher KC. A panel of experts will also discuss the report’s findings.

The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission (IHREC) funded the research.

Anyone interested in attending can register by emailing events@mercylaw.ie.
