Entries open for 2024 Justice Media Awards

The Law Society is inviting entries for the Justice Media Awards 2024, which will take place on Thursday 20 June 2024.

The awards recognise outstanding print, broadcast, and online journalism that contributes to the public’s understanding of justice, the legal system, and access-to-justice issues.

The Justice Media Awards are the longest running media awards in Ireland.

Categories

This year, entries will be accepted in 15 categories:

  • Print/online journalism (daily),
  • Print/online journalism (Sunday),
  • Print/online journalism (local),
  • Broadcast journalism (radio – national),
  • Broadcast journalism (radio – local),
  • Broadcast journalism (podcast),
  • Broadcast journalism (TV/video),
  • Court reporting (print/online),
  • Court reporting (broadcast),
  • Human rights/social-justice reporting (print/online),
  • Human rights/social-justice reporting (broadcast),
  • Environmental law/climate-justice reporting (all channels),
  • International-justice reporting (all channels),
  • Newcomer of the year (all channels), and
  • Student journalism (all channels).

The deadline for entries is Wednesday 10 April 2024.
