Practical implications of AI topic of discussion

This year’s In-house and Public Sector Committee panel discussion will be on the theme of Innovating and Leading in Transformative Times.

The event, on Wednesday, 1 May at 2pm, will be held at the Law Society in Blackhall Place and will focus on AI and its practical implications and usage for in-house solicitors and the organisations and businesses they serve across the public and private sectors.

The panel event will also be covering the topic of in-house solicitor’s skillset being transferable to other non-legal roles.

Industry experts

The discussion will be facilitated by a panel of public sector solicitors, in-house solicitors, and industry experts.

The discussion chair will be Alison Bradshaw, (head of credit legal services, AIB).

Speakers include:

  • Tom Heerey (assistant general counsel, Microsoft),
  • Davinia Conlan (country head, Citi Ireland), 
  • Niamh Hodnett (online safety commissioner, Coimisiún na Meán),
  • Amy Ball (business transformation leader, PWC),
  • John O’Donovan (deputy director ICT, National Treasury Management Agency).
