MHC joins Trinity on corporate governance

Business-law firm Mason Hayes & Curran (MHC) is to provide legal expertise to Trinity College’s Corporate Governance Lab.

The Corporate Governance Lab, an initiative of the university’s Business School, is focused on corporate-governance best practice.

It aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industry experience through innovative projects and collaborative research.

As legal-knowledge partner, MHC will provide insights to support the project’s research initiatives.

'Resilient' structures

Claire Lord (head of corporate governance at MHC) said: “The corporate-governance landscape is rapidly evolving, and we are working closely with clients to build resilient governance structures that enable them to navigate this dynamic environment.”

Professor Laurent Muzellec (Dean of Trinity Business School) said that the partnership with MHC was aimed at developing “practical solutions that address real-world challenges faced by Irish businesses”.

Lab director Dr Daniel Malan added that MHC’s experience would help to ensure that the project’s research was “grounded in current market realities”.
