Provisional results out for Council election

The provisional results of the Law Society Council Election for 2024 are now available.

The following candidates were elected:

  • Fiona McNulty,
  • Rosemarie Loftus,
  • Áine Hynes SC,
  • Martin Lawlor,
  • Maura Derivan,
  • Brian McMullin,
  • Stuart Gilhooly SC,
  • Tony O’Sullivan,
  • Graham Kenny,
  • Garry Clarke,
  • Cristina Stamatescu,
  • Peter Doyle,
  • Imran Khurshid,
  • Thomas Coughlan.

Senior Vice President Eamon Harrington is elected in line with bye-law 6 (12).

Provincials

Sonya Lanigan was deemed provisionally elected in the Leinster provincial election.

The Scrutineers' Report will be considered at the Law Society's AGM on Thursday 7 November.

All members of the Law Society are invited to attend the AGM, in person or online, and registration for the AGM will open this week.
