RDJ appoints Dublin healthcare partner

Law firm RDJ has expended its healthcare practice by appointing Jenny Foley as a partner in its Dublin office.

Foley joins RDJ from the State Claims Agency, where she was a senior clinical-litigation solicitor.

She specialises in catastrophic-injury claims and has advised hospitals and healthcare professionals on complex medical-negligence claims.

'Deep understanding'

Bryan McCarthy (partner in charge of RDJ’s Dublin office) described Foley as “an outstanding lawyer”, adding that her appointment would further enhance the capacity and strength of RDJ’s national healthcare practice.

Imelda Tierney (partner in RDJ’s healthcare group) said that the new partner brought “a deep understanding” of the healthcare landscape in Ireland.

RDJ’s healthcare team acts for clients in the private and public healthcare sectors – including statutory bodies, health insurers, healthcare operations, hospitals, medical practitioners, and health professionals.
