ALSS course on dispute resolution in sport

The Academy of Leadership Sciences Switzerland (ALSS) has launched a second edition of its online course on dispute resolution in sport.

The course, Introduction to Dispute Resolution in Sport, has been developed by sports-law experts and it is taught by international sports lawyers, including:

  • Petra Pocrnic Perica,
  • Prof Juan de Dios Crespo Perez,
  • Livia Silva Kägi, and
  • Catherine Pitre.

Sports industry

It covers general topics on sport-related issues, such as:

  • National and international dispute resolution in sport,
  • Disciplinary matters,
  • Disputes and differences – private tribunals and courts,
  • Dispute resolution at FIFA,
  • CAS jurisdiction, and
  • CAS procedures.

ALSS says that the online-only course suits professionals working in the sports industry – including lawyers, sports administrators, sports federations, and students.

It starts on 8 October and runs for four weeks (two hours weekly). The course is taught through English.
