DWF strengthens Belfast team with 16 hires

DWF in Belfast has welcomed ten new legal professionals and will soon add six newly qualified solicitors.

The firm has recruited Alan Bissett as a consultant in the regulatory team, Nick Nolan as a senior associate in the real estate team, Stephen McGuigan as an associate, and Lauren Hamilton as a solicitor in the construction team.

Associate Charlene Mullin and solicitor Andy Lungley have joined the catastrophic personal injury (CAT PI) team, and the motor and fraud team has welcomed associates Claire Flynn and Catherine Ashbury, and solicitors Aaron Steele and Catherine Crawford.

Capabilities

The new hires enhance DWF’s capabilities across key sectors – including energy, real estate, construction, dispute resolution, and insurance.

After completing their DWF training contracts, six newly qualified solicitors are also set to remain:

  • Michelle Watson in healthcare,
  • Kate Cafferkey and Claire Jewsbury in motor and fraud,
  • Sara Cooling and Olivia Devine in catastrophic personal injury (CAT PI), and
  • Kaitlin Stewart in dispute resolution.
