Holmes and Dublin’s OCWM to merge

Dublin-based commercial-law firm OCWM Law LLP is to merge with Holmes O’Malley Sexton LLP (Holmes) from 1 October 2024.

The firms said that what they described as “an exciting development” brought together two businesses that were complementary on services and client focus.

They added that the combined firm would offer commercial-law services to clients across corporate finance/M&A, commercial, commercial property, banking, litigation, employment, regulatory, insolvency, and restructuring, as well as commercial-dispute resolution.

‘Thriving’ firms

Harry Fehily (managing partner) said “This merger will bring together two thriving firms who share a common culture of client-centred service, teamwork, and innovation.

“It allows us to leverage our combined strengths to provide more extensive services and solutions to our clients, while creating significant growth opportunities for our team,” he added.

Philip O’Connor of OCWM Law LLP said: “This merger signals our ambition, showcasing our commitment to growth while also enhancing our service offering”.
