Addleshaw Goddard moves to 'prized' Dublin office

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard Ireland has officially opened its new offices in Dublin.

Since arriving in Dublin in 2022, the firm has recorded 45% growth in revenue in Ireland and has increased its staff numbers by more than 20%.

It now employs 154 people in Dublin – including 90 lawyers and 32 partners – and is targeting further growth of 10-15% in staff numbers this year.

‘Significant milestone’

Peter Burke (Minister for Enterprise, Tourism and Employment) officially opened Addleshaw Goddard’s new premises at Fitzwilliam No 28 today (4 April).

The firm described the move as “a significant milestone in its continued growth in Ireland”, allowing it to accommodate more than 200 people across the 27,722 square-foot footprint – a 42% increase on the previous office space at Temple Chambers on Burlington Road.

The office stands on the site of the former ESB premises and was designed by the internationally acclaimed Grafton Architects and O’Mahony Pike Architects.

The 14-year lease signed with SMBC Aviation Capital sees the firm take over the entire second floor, along with a portion of the first floor of the building.

Irish market ‘dynamic’

Mark Walsh (head of Ireland, Addleshaw Goddard) described the new premises as “a prized location in the heart of the capital”, adding that it would also facilitate the firm’s “ambitious” growth plans.

Aster Crawshaw (senior partner, Addleshaw Goddard International) said that Ireland had proven to be “one of the most dynamic markets in our international network” since it entered the market

Addleshaw Goddard is being supported by the Irish Government through IDA Ireland.
