Courts Service digitised probate update

The Courts Service has issued a short information video about progress on enabling practitioners to file probate applications online.

A rollout of the new internal case-management systems for Probate Registries, including Dublin, has begun.

Trackable

Applications will also be trackable under the new system.

2025 will be an important year for the digitisation of services for court users, according to chief information officer Owen Harrison.

Digital filing and responding is also expected shortly in family circuit proceedings, Harrison confirmed.
