High Court outlines Easter arrangements

The High Court has advised practitioners of the arrangements for the courts’ Easter vacation, which runs for two weeks from 14 April.

The Courts Service says that a High Court judge will be available every day throughout the period to hear urgent applications only.

In these cases, practitioners are asked to contact the Four Courts at 01 888 6000 to make arrangements with the High Court duty registrar.

All sittings before the vacation judge will take place Monday to Friday in Court 6 in the Four Courts at 11am, unless otherwise advised by the duty registrar.

Bail and extradition lists

In addition, the bail list will sit in Cloverhill Courthouse on the following dates:

  • Tuesday 15 April,
  • Thursday 17 April,
  • Tuesday 22 April, and
  • Thursday 24 April 2025.

The extradition list will sit in Court 20 in the Criminal Courts of Justice on Wednesday 16 April.

The High Court’s central office will close at 4.30pm on Thursday 17 April and will re-open on Wednesday 23 April at 10am.

The Legal Diary will be published on the Courts Service website on each day on which the central office is open during the Easter period.
