LSRA seeks stakeholder feedback for strategic plan

The Legal Services Regulatory Authority (LSRA) is inviting stakeholders to share their views on its upcoming 2025-28 strategic plan through an anonymous online survey.

The LSRA is particularly interested in feedback from solicitors, law firms, and other key stakeholders on how it can improve its work.

Key areas for feedback include the LSRA’s effectiveness in meeting its objectives, future challenges, and research priorities.

Shape resources

The LSRA wants to hear from solicitors on how it can shape its resources and capabilities to regulate the provision of legal services in line with its statutory objectives to:

  • Protect and promote the public interest,
  • Support proper and effective administration of justice,
  • Protect and promote the interests of consumers of legal services,
  • Promote competition in legal services,
  • Encourage an independent, strong and effective legal profession, and
  • Promote and maintain adherence to the professional principles of legal practitioners.

The survey is open until 1 May and takes just 5-10 minutes to complete.
