McCann FitzGerald takes two IFLR awards

McCann FitzGerald won two prizes at the IFLR Europe Awards in London last night (3 April).

The awards celebrate legal innovation in cross-border deals, including merger-and-acquisition activity.

McCann FitzGerald was named ‘National Law Firm of the Year (Ireland)’ and won the award for ‘Financial Services Regulatory Team’.

There was also an individual award for Arthur Cox ‘of counsel’ Ed McDonagh, from the firm’s debt-finance group, who won one of the national ‘Rising Star’ awards.

“The IFLR Europe Award for Ireland reflects how our dedicated teams are working innovatively to help clients navigate new challenges and secure positive outcomes,” said Stephen Holst (managing partner, McCann FitzGerald).

Georgina O’Riordan (head of finance group, McCann FitzGerald) said that it was crucial for financial-services companies to receive the right guidance to stay competitive and compliant in an evolving regulatory environment.
