Three new partners named at William Fry

William Fry LLP has named three new partners across its banking, energy, and tax practices.

David O'Shea (banking and finance) and Colm Booth (energy and natural resources) have been promoted, while Cian O'Sullivan is joining the firm as a tax partner.

William Fry employs more than 500 legal and tax professionals at its offices in Dublin, Cork, London, New York, and San Francisco.

O’Shea, based in the Cork office, advises corporate borrowers, sponsors, financial institutions, and alternative lenders on a range of international and domestic finance transactions.

Energy market

Booth advises organisations involved in the Irish energy market – including conventional and renewable generators, electricity suppliers, project developers, funders, and end users.

O'Sullivan provides tax-planning and compliance services to a range of clients – including multi-national corporations and wealthy individuals. He is a Chartered Tax Advisor and Chartered Accountant.

Stephen Keogh (managing partner, William Fry) said that O’Shea and Booth were “trusted legal advisors” who had provided clients with a high level of service and expertise for many years.

He described O’Sullivan as “a strong addition to the firm”, adding that his experience and expertise would enhance its tax practice.
