Two new Dublin partners at Taylor Wessing

International law firm Taylor Wessing has promoted two lawyers to become partners in its Irish division from 1 May.

They are part of the latest round of promotions – including ten new partners – across the firm’s global network.

Dannie Hanna (corporate) and Jo Joyce (technology, IP, and information) have been appointed partners in Ireland.

M&A expertise

Hanna has expertise advising clients on M&A (mergers and acquisitions), joint ventures, capital raisings, and corporate-governance issues.

He has an internationally focused practice, with expertise leading complex cross-border M&A.

Joyce, who leads the team covering technology, IP, and information, advises on a broad range of topics from commercial projects and product launches to IP, data, and regulatory support.

Dublin’s ‘growth and success’

She focuses on AI and digital regulatory advisory work and co-leads Taylor Wessing’s cyber-security group for Britain and Ireland.

Adam Griffiths (Ireland managing partner) pointed out that one-third of the newly elected partners in Europe were based in Ireland, describing this as “a testament to the growth and success of the Dublin office”.

Taylor Wessing officially opened its Dublin office in 2021.
