Second term for Will Carmody at MHC

Law firm Mason Hayes & Curran (MHC) has re-elected Will Carmody as its managing partner for a second term.

The re-appointment comes as the firm continues to expand, now employing more than 670 people across its Dublin, London, New York, and San Franciso offices.

Carmody was first appointed to the role in January 2023 after over 20 years with the firm – including leading its financial-services practice.

MHC says that, in his first term, Carmody directed investment into the firm’s core sector and industry focus areas, with a particular emphasis on the development and hiring of subject-matter specialist lawyers.

Technology investment

Turnover at the firm last year reached €122 million – a 7% increase.

MHC says that it anticipates “further advancement” in 2025, with final financial figures to be issued in the new year.

“My priority is to ensure our people have the environment, resources, and technology to deliver a high standard of excellent client service, which supports our clients’ business strategies,” Carmody stated, adding that continued investment in legal technology and innovation was essential.
